MAXRON Associates is owned and operated by Ronald (Ron) Jones. Ron has over 20 years’ experience as a senior manager and Employment Relations Specialist.

Ron holds tertiary qualifications in Personnel Management and Employee Relations, financial accounting, and Strategic HR. He is also an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders, Associate of the Arbitrators and Mediator Institute NZ and a Mentor with Business Mentors NZ.

Ron is a member of Employment Law Institute of NZ and an approved Legal Aid provider

As both a senior manager and ex-trade union representative he has worked on many wage round negotiations, contract negotiations and is comfortable working in multi-site and multi-union environments.

He also holds two Government Ministerial appointments to the Benefit Review Committee. Chairing reviews of decision made in relation to Social Welfare Benefits, Social Housing, and Superannuation. Also, Youth Justice, reviewing processes, grievances, management and performance of Youth Justice Facilities. Outside of work, he is an active rugby referee and referee coach, a Justice of the Peace and an Independent Marriage and Civil Union Celebrant.
